In reach placement for CTLB03 in Winter 2013- Lab Assistant for BIOC17 labs

This ePortfolio will walk you through my unique experience this winter of working as a lab assistant in microbiology labs to complete the placement requirement for the course CTLB03: Introduction to Service learning. This course is different than regular undergraduate courses, in the sense that it has a mandatory placement component along with the classroom lectures. It focuses on experiential learning and provides an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a particular field. Placement can be in-reach (within UTSC campus) or out-reach (off-campus). The weekly lectures complement the placement by preparing students for a professional working environment and stimulating continuous reflection on progress throughout the term.
